I am a freelancer web developer and consultant working on Web And Mobile development projects. I am a big fan of the MVC design concept, Agile Software Development Manifesto and famous rule Convention over Configuration.
I worked with many frameworks including Ruby On Rails , Django , CakePhp , CodeIgniter , Kohana , Symfony . Over all these framework I prefer Cake And RoR for developing web projects because of core functions. Also if there is a really huge project which needs a very fast and lightweight framework CodeIgniter can be the choice with extending the development process a little.
Also support and prefer some open source Projects like Drupal and Concrete5 which makes my life really easy if an application request comes fitting these 2 CMS features.
Nowadays developing an Android application for a web service which really excites me. Using Android Plugin for Eclipse like most Android Developers.
Using Linux Operating System since 1999. Now using Ubuntu 11.04 which is the most common Linux Distribution and the biggest community I guess. Prefer RedHat as server Operating System.
